Avoid use in case of severe heart or kidney disease.

Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Zinba.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
It is not recommended to use this medicine during pregnancy. The neomycin sulphate in this ointment may be absorbed into the circulation and crosses the placenta.
Since it is not known whether neomycin is excreted in human milk, a decision should be made whether to discontinue breast-feeding or to discontinue the medicine during breast-feeding, taking into account the importance of the medicine to the mother.

Driving and using machines:
The effects of bacitracin and neomycin on the ability to drive and use machines are unknown.

Method of administration:

After cleaning the affected area, apply the cream locally 2-4 times a day, in a thin layer.
Wash your hands before use.
If necessary, the cream can be used under dressings, on the recommendation of a doctor.
The maximum dose applied locally should not exceed 1 gram of neomycin per day, equivalent to 200 grams of Zinba ointment, to avoid the occurrence of systemic adverse reactions.
The duration of treatment is up to 7 days.
The product can be used by the elderly.
Caution is recommended in cases of impaired renal function, since the absorption of neomycin sulfate can be significant when the drug is applied to open lesions or large surfaces.

Composition:

The active substances are zinc bacitracin and neomycin sulfate.
One gram of ointment contains zinc bacitracin 250 IU and neomycin sulfate 5000 IU.
The other ingredients are lanolin and white petrolatum.
