Indications:
Remiflu is part of the group of drugs called analgesics - antipyretics.

Therapeutic indications:
Remiflu is a medicine against colds and flu, which contains three active substances:
• paracetamol which relieves pain and reduces temperature when you have a fever;
• chlorpheniramine maleate reduces nasal congestion, watery eyes and acts on phenomena such as sneezing.
• vitamin C (ascorbic acid) helps you replace vitamin C that is lost in the early stages of colds and flu. 

Remiflu is a remedy used for the short-term symptomatic relief of influenza, fever, chills and common colds, including headache, sore throat, discomfort and pain, nasal congestion, sinusitis as well as acute nasal pain and runny nose.

The medicine is intended for use by adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.

Antibiotic treatment may be necessary in the event of bacterial infections.

Contraindications:
Do not take Remiflu if:
− you are allergic to paracetamol, phenacetin or other anti-inflammatories, pheniramine or other antihistamines, or to any of the ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Remiflu.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Pregnancy:
Due to the lack of animal and human studies, the risk is unknown. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, this medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
If necessary, Remiflu can be used during pregnancy. However, you should take the lowest possible dose that reduces your pain and/or fever, and the medicine should be taken for 
the shortest possible duration. Contact your doctor if your pain and/or fever do not decrease or if you need to receive this medicine more often.

Breastfeeding:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any medicine while breast-feeding.

Driving and using machines:
Due to its adverse effects (e.g. drowsiness, sedation, confusional state, dizziness, visual accommodation disorders, etc.), the product may influence the ability to drive or use machines.

How to take:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. 
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and adolescents (over 15 years of age): 
1 Remiflu sachet 2-3 times a day. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours.
If you have severe kidney damage, the interval between doses should be at least 8 hours.

The contents of one sachet of Remiflu are dissolved in a cup of hot water (approximately 200 ml). This produces a lemon-flavoured drink that is drunk hot. Do not dissolve and administer more than one sachet at a time.

For the treatment of flu-like conditions, it is preferable to administer this medicine with hot water in the evening, from the moment the first symptoms appear.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you continue to feel unwell after 5 days of treatment. Your doctor will tell you how long you will need to take Remiflu.
If you think that the effect of Remiflu is too strong or too weak, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition:
- The active substances are: paracetamol, ascorbic acid and chlorpheniramine maleate.
Each sachet of granules for oral solution contains paracetamol 500 mg, ascorbic acid 200 mg and chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg.
- The other ingredients are: anhydrous citric acid, sodium saccharin, sugar, lemon flavour.
