Lejer Anti-Gas 240mg 30 Soft Capsules – Bloating & Digestive Support

Properties:

- is a medical device indicated for the improvement of the sensation of abdominal fullness, bloating, belching, discomfort associated with excessive accumulation of gas and air in the gastrointestinal tract that causes tension and compression in the intestines;
- reduces the surface tension on the surface of gas bubbles in the intestines, favoring their easy rupture and at the same time the elimination of gas;
- Simethicone has only surface activity and does not enter into chemical reactions, it is an inert substance from a pharmacological and physiological point of view;
- Lejer Anti-Gas is intended for auxiliary use in preparation for the examination of the abdomen for diagnostic purposes (ultrasound, endoscopy, radiography and colonoscopy), in order to eliminate air and gastrointestinal gases, thus improving the quality of the images.                  

How to use:

Lejer Anti-Gas capsules are taken orally, before or after a meal, with a sufficient amount of liquid (e.g. a glass of water). Avoid carbonated drinks while taking the product.

Symptoms associated with intestinal pressure and tension:
Adults: 1 capsule, 2-4 times a day, as needed. Do not take more than 4 capsules (960 mg simethicone) per day.
Pregnant women: follow the dosage and administration instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.
People with diabetes: no dosage adjustment is necessary.
Children 12-18 years: 1 capsule, once a day, as needed.

Preparation for diagnostic examinations:
Adults: 1 capsule in the evening, the day before the scheduled diagnostic examination and 1 capsule in the morning, on an empty stomach, on the day of the diagnostic examination.
Pregnant women: follow the dosage and administration instructions as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
People with diabetes: no dose adjustment is necessary.
Children 12-18 years: 1 capsule in the evening, the day before the scheduled diagnostic examination and 1 capsule in the morning, on an empty stomach, on the day of the diagnostic examination.

The medical device can be administered to patients with diabetes mellitus and those with carbohydrate digestion disorders.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking the product.
Based on the mechanism of action of simethicone and the lack of absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, the medical device is not expected to have adverse effects during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Composition:

- Composition of the device ®Lejer Anti-Gas is a medical device containing 240 mg of simethicone in a soft capsule.
The capsule shell is made of gelatin of animal origin (pork) and glycerol. The medical device does not contain sugar or dyes.

Precautions:

Do not exceed the recommended dose of 4 capsules per day for adults and 1 capsule per day for children over 12 years of age.
Simethicone may reduce the bioavailability of other medicines taken at the same time. If other medicines are to be taken at the same time as this medical device, ensure that there is at least an hour between Lejer Anti-Gas and the other medicines.
If you have any further questions about this device, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
In the case of simultaneous administration of levothyroxine and simethicone, an interval of 4 hours should be observed between them.
If symptoms become severe or persist for a long period of time, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Store at temperatures between 15-25ºC, in the original packaging.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not take the device after the expiry date stated on the blister and the box.

 Contraindications:
Lejer Anti-Gas should not be administered:
- if you are hypersensitive to simethicone or any other component of the device;
- in children under 12 years of age;
- in patients with diagnosed or suspected gastrointestinal perforation or obstruction.
