Ambroxol 30mg 20 Tablets

Indications:
Ambroxol-Richter contains the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride and belongs to a class of drugs called mucolytics (which facilitate the elimination of pulmonary secretions). It can be used to fluidize airway secretions in acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs (e.g. acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, acute and chronic bronchopneumonia, bronchial asthma).

Ambroxol-Richter reduces the viscosity of mucus, which can thus be more easily eliminated by coughing.
Ambroxol-Richter can be used as a preventive treatment before and after surgical interventions in conditions with a risk of pulmonary complications.
Ambroxol-Richter is intended for use in adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age.

If after 4-5 days you do not feel better or feel worse, you should see a doctor. 

Contraindications:
Do not take Ambroxol-Richter:
- if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Ambroxol-Richter, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy:
The use of Ambroxol-Richter during the first 2 trimesters of pregnancy is not recommended, and in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy Ambroxol-Richter should only be used on the advice of your doctor.
Breast-feeding:
The use of Ambroxol-Richter during breast-feeding is not recommended. 

Driving and using machines:
No studies have been performed on the effects of ambroxol hydrochloride on driving and using machines. 

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: one tablet 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, with a reduction in the dose to one tablet 2 times a day in the following days.
For adults, if necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 2 tablets twice a day.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age: ½ tablet 2 or 3 times a day.
Due to the high content of the active substance, Ambroxol-Richter is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
For children under 6 years of age, ambroxol in syrup form is recommended.
If after 4-5 days of treatment the symptoms do not improve, consult your doctor.

Composition:
One tablet contains ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg and excipients: Ludipress (lactose monohydrate, povidone, crospovidone), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide.
